ABOUT THE PROJECT

ScaVengers is an interactive scavenger hunt for individuals that reside in the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan. It gives you clues on different landmarks found in the greater Grand Rapids area and is a great way for families to come together and appreciate their stomping grounds.

DESIGN DIRECTION

The idea behind this project was to create a logo that is representational of a superhero scavenger hunt, but include a vibrant color palette to draw families from the greater Grand Rapids area into trying the scavenger hunt out. Mackenzie began doing research on different superheroes that are huge in the business industry like : The Avengers and Justice League, but also Power Rangers and Teen Titans. I began looking at images of the heroes and their emblems, as well as the logo for their team to get inspiration. She wanted the color palette to be vibrate, but also gender neutral.
